DICK GIBBS SCORES 38 AS PORKIES WIN T| j OVER RIDGEFIELD jlj] Dick Gibbs had both eyes set on the hoop Sunday night and dumped in 17 baskets and four charity shots to lead McHenry to their first win of the season in four starts. The win came at the expense of Ridgefield. Ridgefield took a first quarter lead of 21 to 11. The McHenry boys came back in the scond quarter to out-score the Aces 20 to 7 to make the score 31 to 28 at half time in favor of McHenry. In the third quarter they again out-scored the Aces, 32 to 18, and also did it in the final quarter 24 to 16 to make the final score 87 to 62. The McHenry boys were handicapped by only naving five players to suit up for the game as two others were home with the flu. Peterson played most of the last half with four fouls and did a magnificent job on defense through the entire game. The boys looked much better than they have all season and, if they keep it up, will finish the season with a fairly good record. The McHenry boys will play in Woodstock on Jan 12 and a further schedule will be listed in next week's paper. -- McHenry R*ere*tto«.-- Friday Nite Ladies- ft Bimbo A Sons S (Name omitted) 0. E.
