Hiree-fourths of the net proceeds will be donated to the fire department of Lakemoor. The crowd that was present liad a wonderful time. On behalf of the L.I.A., I wish to thank everyone who had anything at all to do with fhe success of this party. Although it was nowhere near as successful as other parties in the past, we will; try to blame it on the weather, A report on the financial end of the dance will be published in next week's paper. Those who did not attend sure missed a wonderful evening of fun. "On March 19 the L..I.A. will hold their monthly meeting in tlte firff house. Father and Son Banquet The fathers and song of Lakemoor were well represented at the Boy Scout dinner last Saturday evening. Founders Day Program This is just a reminder to you of the Founders Day program taking place Thursday, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m. in the fire house. Due to this program there will not be a Girl Scout meeting this week but be sure to come on the twenty-fourth. Fun Club • The Fun cTub had their meeting last week at the home of Jenny O'Leary. The club welcomed a new member, Alice Becker. (Birthdays of Jenny O'Leary, Jenny McDermott, Irene Godina and Pat Morrison were celebrated. Happy birthday to all of you girls. Prizes that evening were won by Jenny McDermott, Emma Kunz, Pat Morrison and Lu Bitterman. A mipper was served by the hostess around midnight. Joe Gilmore was in a hospital in Chicago this past week but is now staying at his daughter's home in McHenry, recuperating from his illness. Carol Szarek was home this past week and was pleased to have Iher father, Wally, meet her in their new car. Corky Boro is expected home from the service soon. I am sure all his friends will be around to welcome him back. Stella Blades is enjoying a Caribbean cruise while Ray is at home "holding the fort." Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rogers of Lilymoor are vacationing in California for the next few weeks.
