Jean and Hugh McDonald, together with Bob Kantorski, just returned from a most enjoyable and relaxing vacation in Florida. They met and visited with Erling Olsen and Bill Pagett, who had motored down. Lt. Jake Levesgue was on a naval reserve cruise stationed at Marine Master Field in Miami and the and the McDonalds enjoyed each other's company. Jake said the outstanding recollection of his tour of duty was a , trip over and around the Bahfuna islands, where the water Was so clear and blue that schools of vividly colored fish triere clearly discernible at 500 f|&t altitude. He and members of )^s crew also spotted the sunken hull ;of an old ship several hunj& ed feet off shore. .Bob Kantorski enjoyed the pleasure of his brother, Chester's company. Chester is a policeman oh the Chicago force. , Jean McDonald looked up a c]hum -who was a former resident of <wr fair community, Mrs. Itetty. Kilfeather. On the Town Violet and Ben Gates and sons, and Virginia and Ray Aalto and children haJd a wonderful time recently when they enjoyed dinner at Gurnee. Violet, born on Feb. 27, and Ray, born on Feb. 17, were celebrating their birtlhdays together. The occasion was a most festive one. Anniversary Dinner Mr. and Mrs. Otto Pyritz entertained Emma's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. William Hoeft jof Wonder Lake, with a delicious dinner on Sunday; Emma told Otto were celebrating thirty-seven wonderful years together. Gathering of the Clan "Butch" Kennenberg played host on Sunday to his entire family by way of his "39th" birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kick, Mr. ana Mrs. Hugh McDonald and all the Kehnenherg family turned out in style for the shindig.
