Bowling News Last Saturday morning, a girls' team from Lakemoor, consisting of Pauline Kalernba, Eleanor Wirfs, Mary Ann Swenski, Joyce Haher and Judy Vacondio, and a boys' team, consisting of Bob Foss, Corky Foss, Eddy Steadman, Roy Erickson and Donald Kibbe, played teams from WonkJ4r Lake. The boys were defeated by one point and tfhe girls by three points. We hope they will do better the next time they bowl them. Outing Last Tuesday the pinochle club, consisting of Rita Erickson, Helen Para, Mrs. Geiger, Mar cella Foss and Irene Leon, celebrated their firfet birthday by going to Chicago for the day. While eating lunch next to the Chicago Theatre, we were all surprised to see the Mariners walk in and sit at flfce table next to us. Mrs. Leon got up enough courage to ask for their autographs. They sure were a friendly group. After going to the show, we went to the Chez Paree for dinner. A weary five-some returned home around 12:30 am The only thing that dampened1 our spirits was the fact that Ann Brzezinski, Dorothy Wrublewski, Claire Forbes and Alice Wade could not attend the outing with us.
