GRADUATES OF 1955 Funeral services were held Saturday .afternoon at 2 o'clock for Fred Voeltz, 65, of 411' WaUkegan road, JVtcHenry, wfio died at St. Joseph's hospital, Elgin, Thursday morning following an illness of more than a year. Mr. Voeltz, a native of Mc- Henry, was one of the community's most respected residents. He was born here July 23, 1889, anld spent his entire lifetime in the area. He was a retired foreman at the Terra Cotta company. Survivors include the widow, Elsie Block Voeltz; a son, Howard, of McHenry; a daughter, Mrs. Lois Heidemann, of Elgin; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two children and seven brothers and sisters. The body rested at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral Ibome ' until 2 o'clock Saturday, when services were held at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church, fol- J lowed by burial in Woodland ' " cemetery. Lydia Breyer Mrs. Lydia Kleetz Breyer; 84, a summer resident of McCullom Lake for the past sixty years, died at her home in Chicago on May 25. She was the widow of Fred Breyer, an old time resident of this vicinity, who, died twenty-one years ago. They were married June 25, 1895. The deceased was born May *18, 1871, in Manitowoc, Wis. She is • survived by a daughter. Miss Melvina Breyer, and a son, Ted. Services were Held at the Peter M. Justen funeral home at 3 o'clock Saturday, with Rev. J. Elliott Corbett of the Community Methodist church officiating. Previously, Eastern Star rites were held in Chicago. Interment was in Woodland cemetery. Fred J. Toepper * Fred J. Toepper, 55, a resident of Oakhurst subdivision, died last Thursday morning, May 26, at Memorial hospital, Woodstock. He was a conductor for the Chicago Transit company. The body rested at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home, from where it was later removed to the Sdhmitt chapel in Chicago, where services were held. Burial was in Eden cemetery at Schiller Park.
