Visits in Milwaukee Mrs. Ann Zeller and Mrs. Ethel Beim were accompanied by three Sisters from St. John's last week when they visited St. Joseph's convent in Milwauikee. They witnessed the first vows being taken by Barbara Franzen, now Sister Joella, and Betty Dix, now Sister Mathias Mary. Sister Mathias Mary is Mrs. Je*ller's sister. Also up at St. Joseph's convent for a day last week were Mrs. Susie Hiller,. Mrs. Alvina Miller, Mrs. Hilda Thelen and Mrs. Eva Schaefer. They visited with Sister Victricia and Sister Jacob. Attends Convention Harry Diedrich and Ted Schaefer attended the F.F.A. convention in Springfield recently with Mr. Pictor of McHenry. Move to McHenry We are sorry to lose the Bill Banks family, who have moved into their newly purchased home recently. The Bankses resided formerly in Bay View Lane. We wish them lots of success and happiness in their new home. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Timm and family are also among the movers. They recently moved to Wisconsin, where their business now is established. Sorry to see them go. While in the city, they stopped off at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Dehn. Christening in Chicago Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Heim were in Chicago last Sunday to attend the christening of a new niece. "Shorty" Heim had the honor of being godfather for the baby. Forthcoming Events The Christian Mothers are planning another of their popular bake sales for July 3. The sale will continue after each of the" four masses. On July-6, the P.T.A. of St. John's is sponsoring a style show at the Community club hall. Dresses and sport outfits will be narrated by Betty Nielsen. Plan on attending. Anniversaries and Birthdays Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Frett celeT brated their seventeenth wedding anniversary on June 15 and happy anniversary to Mr. and Mrs. Art Stilling, who also celebrate this month. Mr. and Mrs. Al Pepping spent last weekend in Michigan visiting relatives. Will Krift and Mrs. Leonard Lois and family of Burlington, Wis., spent last Sunday at the home of Mrs. Helen Hettermann. The Emil Boilers of Morton came to spend Father's Day with her father, Bill Ricks. The W.C.O.F. joint * Forester picnic, including Aurora, McHenry, Elgin and Johnsburg courts, will be enjoyed on the Johnsburg Community club grounds Wednesday, June 29.
