New Two-Year Enlistment Is Announced By Marines A new two-year extended active duty enlistment In the United States Marine , Corps Reserve has been announced Jby Major T. S. . Parker, Chicago ^|arine recruiting officer. Heretofore, young men 17 through 31 years of age coilld only enlist for either a three or four year period. Men with one dependent are how also eligible for this new enlistment period. Major Parker added that these young men will receive the same training and opfjbrtunity to attend the service school of their choice as men enlisting for the longer periods. They will be sent from Chicago to the Marine Corps recruit depot at San Diego, Calif., where they will undergo ten weeks of recruit training. For more information, contact Sgt.
