Prominent Pastor Speaks For Club The McHenry Woman's club will meet Friday, Feb. 10, at the Legion home1 at 2 o'clock, at which time Mrs. C. W. Goodell, program chairman, will present the Rev. A. E. McKenney. Rev. McKenney, who has been pastor at the First Baptist church in Elgin for thirteen years, will speak on "My Trip Through the Holy Lands." Last year the visiting pastor led the Illinois Baptists Ministers' council as president. He is also a former president of the Kiwanis club and has served on the family welfare board and on the civic welfare board of the Elgin Watch company. His activities have long included work for the Y.M.C.A. Last summer Rev. McKenney was a delegate to the World Alliance. of Baptists and visited Palestine and several European countries^ ^ The musical portion of the program of the next club meeting will be music by the high school string quartet and a piano solo by Patsy McCracken.
