PAINTINGS REMAIN ON DISPLAY UNTIL JUNE 1 AT CLUB Breakfast For St. Patrick's Graduates The Mother's club of St. Patrick's school and the St. Patrick's Holy Name society will sponsor a breakfast for the school graduates on Sunday, May 27. Breakfast will be served by the club immediately following the 9 o'clock mass. The graduates will receive Communion in a body at 9 o'clock and parents are requested to join with them both in receiving Communion and attending the breakfast. Shower Honors Bride-To-Be A personal shower was held at the home Of Mrs. Eleanor Foley in McHenry one evening last week, honoring Miss Josephine Guercio of Crystal Lake, formerly of McHenry. Co-hostesses were the Misses Julia Foley, Charlene Guercio and Janet Lindholm. Thirty guests were present to enjoy a social evening and a tasty lunch. Miss Guercio was presented with a pretty corsage, as well as a variety of gifts. Attending were the bride's mother, Mrs. John Stunim, of Crystal Lake, her grandmother, Mrs. CharleS . Herdrich, of McHenry, and Mrs. Lindholm of Park Ridge, in addition to coworkers in the elementary school of Crystal Lake and former classmates. Miss Guercio will become the bride of Jerry Pease of Crystal Lake June 23. There was a hanging of paintings Thursday evening. May 17, at the Hunter Golf club in Rich* mond. Among the artists and guests were Mr, and Mrs. Fred Mastin and Mrs. Robert Stewart of Hebron; Mrs. C. S. Gordon, Frank Kittell, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Manka and Ron Manka of Richmond; Mrs. Paul Weber and Judy Weber of Spring Grove. Following the "hanging," the group attended an "arty party" at the Vincent Manka home. Refreshments were served from a variety of plates, bowls and pitchers used during the winter months in still life subjects. The artificial flowers and candles stuck in bottles, as well as the red checkered tablecloth, were also subjects for the artists. The paintings will remain on display at the Hunter Golf club on Route 173, east of 12 in Richmond, until June 1. Sutton j attended the funeral of a relative, Hugh Armstrong, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help ih Glenview Monday. The Armstrong family was among the earliest summer residents of Emerald Park.
