REV. STA. 1951) the President and Board of Trustees I of the Village of McCullorn Lake, Illinois, are authorized to levy on behalf of said Village its own tax for street and bridge purposes at a rate not to exceed .06 per cent of the full, fair cash value, as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue, and may, by a threefourths vote of the members elected to such Board of Trustees levy an additional tax for street and bridge purposes at a rate not to exceed .04166 per cent of the full, fair cash value, as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue, of the , taxable property within said j Village of McCullom Lake, Illi- I nois; and it is deemed necessary ! to exercise this power so that f adequate revenue for the Village j for these purposes will not be j dependent upon the actions of the Township Highway Commissioner of other Township authorities.
