East of the Old Bridge ' Although still an infant, "the residents of the village of Sunnyside are already enjoying imp r o v e m e n t s m a d e a v a i l a b l e through incorporation. Our energetic police force and board members tackled the huge chore of mowing and trimming the beach area. The finished result speaks for itself. Let's keep it neat and really enjoy our beach. Stop signs and speed limit signs have ,been placed at advantageous spots throughout the village by the police force and board members. These signs have been placed for the protection of us all. Shown the proper respect, they will mean a safer community. A most jgratifying event took place recently when our roads in the village were graded and oiled. Not only do the cars wear a smooth smile, but notice the lack of dust in the air. You can eliminate the daily dusting now, Mom. Our thanks to Paul Colomer, who undertook the huge task of collecting for donations for the oiling of the roads. Anyone wishing to donate to this fund, please contact Mr. Ctftomer. Please notice the new signs posted at the beach and boat harbor. John Valaski kindly donated his time and talent to this project, for which thanks are in order. We all hope Mr. Valaski has a quick recovery from his recent illness. A new addition has been -made to Sunnyside by the purchase of a squad car. This is due to the fact that color TV is broadcast over the same frequencies as black and white. Since the size and design of an antenna determines the frequency received, it makes no difference whether a particular frequency is used for color or B & W. However, we have learned at McIIENRY TV that the antenna assumes even a greater importance with color then it does with B & W. For color TOPICS Allan McKim to reproduce faithfully and clear, i particularly strong signal mast be received. Just an acceptable B & W picture from an antenna will not pro- ,, duce a very good colored picture. So, purchase your antenna with care today, even if you're only using it for B & W.
