Vacationing News The Ken • Boyces and the Chuck Kluks have just returned from a wonderful vacation in Canada. The vacationers went fishing in the vicinity pf Deer Lake, Ontario, where they report several nice fish fries with enough fish left over to bring horned There were no big fish stories but Rose had a little one. It seems she and Bernice almost "came to parting nl the ways" when Bernice kept throwing her 2- and 3-inch fish back in the lake. Finally, when she did catch a nice sized fish, Itose was informed that it was out of season for that particular type fish -- oh, the woes of a fisherman or should we say fisherwoman? Another big event came on the first day of their vacation when they celebrated Ken and Bernice's twenty-eighth wedding anniversary and Bernice's birthday. They made whoopee in Curtis, Mich. Helen and Larry Strandquist and Son, Wayne, returned home from their vacation on Saturday evening. They report the weather was cool and the fishing i pretty good. They spent two j weeks in Drummond, Wis. Not I to be outdone by the Boyces, the Strandquists, with the help from Maryville in E>es Plaines came to spend the day.
