Survivors are a son, Gerald, with whom she made her home; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Math Schmitt of Johnsburg and Mrs. Francis May of Spring Grove; and two brothers, Arthur Kattner of Spring Grove and Ernest Kattner of Richmond. Services were held from St. John's church, Johnsburg at 9:30 Wednesday morning, with burial in the church cemetery. Prior to that time, the body rested at the George R. Justen funeral home. Funeral services of Mrs. Josephine Mayer, 84, who died Oct. 14, were held in Stacyville, Iowa, Wednesday morning. She was a native of Johnsburg, the youngest child of the late John and Suzanrfo Mueller. Mrs. Mayer was an aunt of Mrs. Joseph Nimsgern, who, with her husband, attended funeral services.
