The event will be the annual Craft Day, beginning at 10 a.m. Homemakers from each of the twenty-five Home Bureau units will attend to receive'training in making block prints, copper enamel jewelry, clown dolls and dried floral arrangements. Handicraft enthusiasts are welcome to attend to see the craft display and sale or be "sidewalk superintendents" at the craft classes. COMPLETE PLANS FOR FALL HOLIDAY HARVEST BAZAAR The women of the W.S.C.S. of the Community Methodist church are getting into the final swing after many months of planning and preparation for their annual holiday harvest bazaar. Many are now doing the final Stitching on home-made articles. The bazaar begins Thursday, Nov. 1, at 10 o'clock in the church parlors on the corner of Main and Center streets. Lunch will be served from 12 to 1:30, coffee and cake throughout the afternoon. From 5 to 7:30, an old-fashioned chicken and biscuit dinner, with homemade pies, will be served in the church dining room. Start planning for the holidays the easy way. Also treat your family to a home-cooked dinner that can be enjoyed without spending the day in the kitchen. McHenry Area Youths Placed On Probation Two county youths were sentenced to serve terms at the state farm in Vandalia in county court last week. They were Marvin Darwin of Union and Ted Sobik of Algonquin. The sentences resulted from charges of larceny and issuing checks to defraud, respectively. Two McHenry area young men, James Walsh, 16, and Vincent Walsh, 18, were placed on pro ibation after being charged with breaking into cars in the community southeast of McHenry.
