Signs will be posted along the road to gui.e the unfamiliar to .the proper location. Alscjr on the agenda for the last meeting was. a general discussion of lake conservation and , its problems. The seining of the lake last fall was reviewed. The seining did not entirely solve tn ? problem of undesirable fish. Other methods of getting^ rid of them and of clarifying the lake wheih have been proposed by state conservation officials vrere discussed and further action was referred to various committees. All property owners around will be appraised of the results of the studies made by these committees and the cooperation of the property owners will then be solicited to carry out their suggestions. It was pointed out that although the club has been reorganized since its beginning over a year ago, the main purpose of the Sportsman's club is still lake conservation. All the monies Collected for purposes of lake conservation have actually been spent for that purpose. The Sportsman's club has also made studies of the watershed area of McCullom Lake and formed working parties to open the creeks feeding the lake. In addition the club has offered their members special shooting and hunting facilities. Special fees are charged for these extra activities so that general membership funds are not used.
