Birthday Hapjjy Birthday to Mrs. Arthur Kurbyun on Nov., 17. Lilymoor/Garden Club The Lilymoor Garden club met Monday, Nov. 2, at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Marion Leske. Trhe group enjoyed brownies and coffee before starting on their project of making artificial flowers from paper and wire. Mrs. LaVerne Schueler and Mrs. Ann Erickman joned the regular members, Mrs. Mary Hollenback, Mrs. Leona Fantus, Mrs. Edna Crawley and Mrs. Helen Haines. Pack 361 re monthly,meeting of Pack was held Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Methodist church. Those attending from local Dens 3 and 6 included Mr. and Mrs. William Zahn and Billie and Bobbie, Mrs. Isabelle Karmel and Dennis, Mrs. Matthews and Michael, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hucksteadt and Dutchie, Frank Bitterman and Dickie, Mrs. Winston and John and Mrs. Leona Fantus and Jimifty. Frank Bitterman was present to witness Dickie's initiation into the pack. Entertainment for the evening included a ski&presented by local Den 3, which included a conga dance in which the Cubs wore large hats. The den also displayed their bud vases to other parents and members of the pack. In honor of Ed Mars' birthday, Sen 7 presented him with a large Birthday cake and local Den* 6 presented him with a gift of a neckerchief slide which the boys had fashioned from wood. Den 6 also served the entire paclc with Puerto Rican cornsticks ("Sorullo de Maiz") which the boys had prepared. The regular meeting time of Den 3 has been changed to Monday instead of the usual Tuesday. •• " • Wedding Anniversaries John Mullinac was home from Waukegan on Tuesday, Nov. 20, to celebrate his thirty-seventh wedding anniversary with his wife. Mr. and Mrs. Moise Cary happily celebrated their thirteenth wedding anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 18. The couple enjoyed din- , ^d and a movie in Elgin. Thanksgiving Day Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stratton and son, Larry, enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Mr. Stratton's, mother, Mrs. Pearl Stratton, "in McHenry.
