Among those present were Mrs. Gertrude Barbian and Albert S. Blake of McHenry. The . meeting was under the chairmanship ,of Leo Krumme, county fund \drive chairman, for the purpose of outlining plans for the campaigi^. A message was read from Fred Ferris, county chairman. "Mention was,made of the need for response to the appeal for Hungarian relief and branches plan to place cartons in banks and other public places. A movie recently released by the Red Cross, qalled "A Womofl: Writes a Letter," was showiv telling the story of the American Red Cross from the time of Clara Barton. This film caused much interest among those present and can be obtained for showing any organization by calling chapter headquarters.
