The work will be financed by a federal grant of $30,000 a year. Barbara Jacobson read the proposed articles on forming a club. These articles will be typed and discussed by all 'teen-agers of Wonder Lake. They will be decided upon at the meeting of Jan. 18, to be held at the fire house. Officers were elected and 3re as follows: President,. Christ The King Beginning at 11:30 Christmas Eve the choir, under the direction of John Van Kanegan, will present 30 minutes of caroling. On Christmas day there will be an 8 a.m. Mass, followed by two low masses and at 10 a High Mass followed by two Low Masses. Sunday afternoon, Dec. 16, the Christmas p^rty for the children of the parish was held in the Harrison school gym. About 300 children enjoyed a program portray the nativity scene, with a background of an angel choir. This program was under- the direction of the Missionary Sisters ofthe "Holy Trinity of Rockford and they were assisted by "Mrs. Joanne Higgens, Mrs. Pat Wright and, Mrs.* Doris Crane of the church school. \ The Children of Mary, under the direction of Mrs. Carl Walker and Mrs. - Charles Sullivan, in costumes of snow maids, sang several popular Christmas songs, "Frosty," "Rudolph" and "Santa is Coming to^ Town." Martin Weisenberge?,' Jr., played a medley of Christmas songs on his accordion. While awaiting the arrival of Santa, the children watched four cartoons. All the children received gifts and refreshments .were served., The regular social night sponsored by the Holy Nome society and held at Mathews hall each week will not be held this coming Tuesday, Christmas Day.
