Grandma Anderson was the most surprised grandma in the world on Dec. 12 when her friends Mrs. E. Wolter of Palatine, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Phillips of Crystal Lake, and Mr. and Mrs? Charles Normand of Lakemoor, all presented her with a new wheel-chair as* their Christmas present to her. Choking back sobs of delight along with a mixture of emotions, all grandma could say was, "this is the happiest Christmas I've ever had." The friends were far-sighted to the point of giving her a nice thick quilt for padding on the chair and a beautiful hand-painted bed-tray for use either in bed or on the chair.
