A very lovely double wedding ceremony took place at 7:30 o'clock last Saturday evening at the Wauconda Federated church, with Rev. Charles Millburn officiating. United in marriage were Sharon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Slove of Eastwood Manor, and. Glen White, son of the Edgar Whites of Wauconda, in one ceremony. "In the other. Miss Geraldine White exchanged vows with Donald -Meyer, son of Otto Meyer of Wauconda., Miss - Slove chose a floor length, white ruffled net and lace gown over satin, with elbow length veU held in place by a cap trimmed in seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of glads. She was attended by Judy Bueschmg of Williams Park as maid of honor and Margaret White, sister of the groom, as bridesmaid. Miss Buesching chose a green chiffon gown, ballerina length, and had a matching band on her head. She carried pink carnations. Miss White wore an orchid colored dress, a matching band on her head and carried yellow carnations. The pretty little flower girl was Gwendolyn White, sister of the groom, who was attired in yellow and carried a basket of mixed flowers. David Siereisen served as best man and groomsman was Ed. Khaplan. The bride attended the local high school. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Wauconda high school and is employed by a service station in Wauconda. A reception followed the service for 400 guests in the church parlors. The couple left later on a short trip, after which they will reside m Eastwood Manor. For her bridal dress, Miss White chose lace and net, with inserts of lace. Her French, imported veil, was fingertip length, and she carried white roses, centered with an orchid. Miss.,Jacqueline .White, sis-i ter of the bride, acted as maid of honor and Carol Meyer was bridesmaid. They were attired in green and orchid, respectively. The flower girl, little Cleo White, was attired like Gwendolyn. Robert Morrow served as best man and Clyde Lundsten was groomsman. The bride is a graduate of the Wauconda high school and has been a secretary for the Hough company in Libertyville. Her husband graduated from Wauconda high school, served four years in the Navy and is associated in a cleaning establishment business in Wauconda. Linnane, Jr., 4%, of Lakeland Park was injured Friday afternoon When struck by a car. As a resident of the subdivision, Robert K. Meyer, backed out of his driveway, he heard a scream and realized the child had been struck. He had thought the little fellow was playing in a ditch near the road and failed to see him in the road w|ien he backed up. Three McHenry 'teen-agers charged with larceny of cases of beer from the Louis Pitzen camp at Pistakee Bay face trial this (Thursday) morning in Woods{ock. They are Jerry Dowe, 18; Norbert Adams, 18 and Ha'rold Justen, 17. According to authorities, the youths admitted gaining entrance to the warehouse Friday night, where several cases beer were later reported missing.. They were found loitering in the local school during a program Sunday evening and police were summoned. Their arrest on the larceny charge followed. Bond for each was set at $2,500.
