Wilton avenue, Chicago. The lovely candlelight ceremony was performed Saturday, June 7, at St. Philip's Lutheran church on Chicago's north side. A reception for friends and relatives followed the ceremony. After the honeymoon the young couple will reside in Chicago for the summer. Come fall, Lyle will be teaching at Hebron, Ind., and his bride will resume her studies at Valparaiso. Lyle received his bachelor of arts degree from Valparaiso on the Saturday preceding hfe wedding. The scone was 6 to 0 in favor of Greenwood but there was plenty of fighlin' spirit on b^th sides. The boys improve with each game, and a big vote of appreciation should go to all the fine men who are giving, their time to .manage* direct and encourage the youngsters from the Pony League, the Little League, and all the little fellows training for the teams. All the youngsters are learning the essentials of teamwork ahd sportsmanship with every turnout. The Greenwood AA was founded by Jack Moore, Sr. Assisting him is Lawrence Worm. The governing board of the Wonder Lake team is Paul Marke, president; Charles Sullivan, secretary; and Martin Weisenberger, Sr. treasurer. The managers for the Little League are Paul Schwegel, Earl Miller, George Freund, Bill Fiala, Jim LaGreca, Jim Lennon, Fred Zandier. Managing the Pony League are John Eberle, A1 Jacobsen and Ed Druml. Umpire jobs are taken over by Bill Nielsen and Bill Habich. The tag day for the baseball league was a tremendous success and all the fellows want to thank the people of Wonder Lake for their kind generosity.
