She was among the 800 graduates who were invited back to the Oak Park hospital homecoming celebrating their fiftieth year of service. Mrs. Kromroy who graduated from nurses training in 1929 renewed a lot of old acquaintances during this particular day. This festive celebration began with a high Mass read in the hospital chapel followed by a tea and reception in the nurses' home. During the course of the day, the former graduates were taken on a tour of the new hospital addition. Some 400 of the alumni enjoyed dinner.
