At the present time he is a student at Garrett Biblical Institute, working on his B.D. and M.A. degrees as well as speaking all .over the midwest and on the alcohol crisis in America. He has been appointed to serve the Greenwood and Ringwood churches. Sick List Mrs. Ben Walkington underwent surgery at the Passavant hospital in Chicago Wednesday. She is getting along nicely- Mrs. James Finley is on the sick list but is reported a little improved. Mrs. Louis Hawley underwent surgery at Sherman hospital in Elgin Thursday. Anniversary Picnic Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aissen entertained Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Rowe, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rowe and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thomfordha and two sons of Woodstock, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bowman and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Skidmore and family and Donna Ackerman at a picnic at their home Sunday honoring the first wedding anniversary of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Rowe. Personals Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kirkpa trick and family of Hoselle spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. William Heine of Chicago spent the weekend with Mrs. Ruby Shepard. Mrs. John Shadle and sons of Tacoima, Calif., left for their home Thursday after spending a couple of weeks with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wolf Shadle. They also visited relatives in Washington, D. C. and Virginia. Mr. and Mrs. William Heine and Mrs. Ruby Shepard and Mr. and Mrs. Alan Ainger and family enjoyed a picnic at Fontana Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Ehlert and family of Richmond spent Sunday evening with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Ehlert. Those attending were Sister Florentine, Sister Theophane of the Mercy Order, Sister Florentine being Ray's sister and a Mercy nurse in Davenport, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Nelson and children, Mrs. B. Franklin (Ray's mother), Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Franklin tand family, Mr. and Mrs. JSar) Franklin and family. Beach Committtee It seems that some of the people have been leaving paper, etc. laying around down at the beach. There are cans there for the specific purpose of your garbage, so let's make use of them. The 'teen age curfew at the beach is 9:30 if you are under 18 years of age unless accompanied by an adult. Welcome Back to Mr. and Mrs. Larry Strandquist who .spent one week in Star Lake, Wis. and then went on to the upper peninsula Of Michigan, went through jthe .copper mines there.
