Military services were held Nov. 24. He formerly operated a restaurant and tavern at Volo and his wife, Josio Watrous Reed, for many years ope|at?d the Spinning Wheel south of Richmond. For the past several years, Mr. and Mrs. Reed have been operating a service station in Minocqua, Wis., during the summertime and have been spending the winters at Eureka Springs. THE McHENRY PLAINDEALER FOUR LILYMOOR YOUTHS PLACED ON PROBATION Three Lilymoor youths were assessed fines and stayed jail sentences Saturday., -as the result of malicious mischief charges. They were sentenced and fined on charges of being involved with the burning of a barn owned by C. H. Fritzsche at Lilymoor, with damage astimated at $18,000. The three were Wayne Baers, 16, Richard Mercure, 15, and Robert Nelsen, 16, charged with firing the barn when one of them dropped a match in hay while looking Xor a supply of gas. They were fined $50 each and jail sentences of riinely days with stay of the jSiil mittimus. They were plaited on probation for one yfear. A fourth youth, Tom Caiun- 1ey. 15, was gi$en a $50 fine and the same sentence and put on probation on a charge of larceny.
