Home and School Association News May 23, the. St. John's Home find School association met at the school gym. Mrs. Richard Fredrick of Sunnyside was reelected for another term as president of the association. TW sixth, seventh and eighth grade pupils gave a musical program for the members, along with a skit, which every one enjoyed very much. Father Anger gave a brief talk to the parents reminding them of their duty to see to it that the children receive the Sacraments during the summer vacation. The association is planning to have boot racks built in the hall for winter use. The father of Dick's brother-in-law- passed away suddenly at Victory Memorial hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Corcoran have returned home from their vacation. The Reilly and Thoren families had a picnic together on Memorial Day. The Conways, Morleys and Masons got together on Memorial. Day at the Masons' home for a picnic. Pat and Roger Rogde were out visiting their family on Memorial Day. Our best wishes to Bob Hurckes in his new business adventure. Happy birthday to Susie Thelen who just turned 6. She had a party on May 25 with her friends. We are sorry to report that Hazel Rogde hasn't been feeling too good.
