On Sunday, May 29, Mr. and Mrs. Rathke had a surprise silver anniversary party for their daughter and son-in-law, Irene and Pete Capellani. Irene and Pete received many beautiful gifts. Dance The committee that ran the dance Saturday, May 28, wishes to thank everyone who came. The dance was for the benefit of the McHenry hospital building fund. In Ballet Miss Jill Parbst will be dancing in three different ballets Saturday, June 11, at the Roosevelt high school in Chicago. She will be dancing in the Dancing Sweethearts in Every Port, Hansel and Gretcl, and also in Les Sylphides. Hope you have many more Don and Marion. On Vacation Earel and Laura Belford and family left Thursday, May 26, for a 10 day vacation. \ They will be vacationing in Orangeburg. S. C. While there they will visit Mrs. Belford of Orangeburg. Laura's parents, Mr.. and Mrs. Andrew Gramling, Sr. Also Laura's. brothers and their families of Orangeburg and Myrtle Beach. Tazewell, county superintendent of schools, under whose supervision competitive examinations for them were hold last March. Seven scholarships are availa b l e i n M c H e m y c o u n t y , awarded on the basis of grades in the examinations. They exempt the winners from, tuition fees for four years. Welcome to the Postals Harry and Geraldine Postal moved into the new home at 10 Riverview Drive on April 30. Harry is employed at a director and cameraman for slide film productions, and Gerry works in a Chicago mail order house. Their son, Frederick. t8, has just been graduated from Power high school in Montana and expects to enroll as a freshman in Northern Illinois boljege in the fall. The whole family are sports fans, and enjoy boating on .the Fox River, which flows right by their new home.
