OBITUARIES Mathilda Nelson Services were held Monday, June 6, in Chicago for Mrs. Mathilda Nelson, 97, grandmother of Jack Hollander of McHenry. Survivors include three sons, two daughters, twelve gra^- children arid nine great-grandchildren. Henry C. Nickels Henry C. Nickels, 61, a lifelong resident of McHenry, died early Monday morning, June 6, at Hines hospital. He had been ill for about a month. Mr. Nickels was born in McHenry in 1898, a son of Fred (Sandy) and Louise Dettr^r Nickels. He' never married. The deceased was a veteran of World War II, having served between Sept. 23, 1942, and Feb. 15. 1945. , - A brother, Fred J. Nickels, of Barrington survives, as well as seven nieces and nephews.
