We are happy toPreport he is doing fine and is back home. Sea Explorers To Hold Fish Fry July 10 the Sea Explorers will hold a big fish fry at the community center. They have 110 fish they caught on their Memorial weekend outing and it will be a big affair. The senior Girl Scouts from Woodstock wli be their guests as will the parents, brothers, sisters and past Sea Explorers. The evening will include a big fish dinner, weather permitting a splash party and dancing. Plans For Highlands Carnival I'ndor Way Plans for the big carnival, sponsored by the association and assisted by the adult activities group, are making much headway. The big event is to be held August 4 through the 7. Through the kindness of John Thelen who has furnished the site for the event on his property on Route 12, right off the Highlands entrance, this affair is possible. I hope with your help I'll be able to do so. Mount Hope Church The sign raising was held on June 26 at the site of the new Mount Hope church. After the 11 a.m. service the congregation drove to the site and dedicated the sign with a brief prayer service. There was an official board meeting held June 27 at the community center. Nothing definite was decided. Communion will be held on Sunday, July 10 instead of the usual first Sunday of the month. There is Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and all youngsters are invited to attend. Morning worship at 11a.m. This Sunday the topic for the M.Y.F. group . will be "Growth In Our Idea Of God." There will be a filmstrip and discussion. Refreshments will be served and each one is asked to bring 15c. Pastor Bob Stine is the leader of this growing group and has. many interesting and exciting things planned for them. Highland Resident Marries Miss Neida Day was married to Chester E. Reichisky at 2:30 p.m. on July 3 by the Rev. Jack Mclntyre at Faith Presbyterian in Eastwood Manor. Best man was Albert Kirneauer of Norridge Park. The bride's niece, Jeanne Lessard was flower girl. Ushers were Raymond Lessard and Joseph Muno. Following the wedding ceremony a reception was held at the Day home. The bride and groom left on a two week honeymoon to the New England states and Niagara Falls.
