The petitioners are asking for a variation of "F" farming district to permit them to use the premises as a dumping ground. All interested single youth, rural or-urban, between 18 and 28 are invited to attend. This organization will be sponsored by the University of Illinois home economics and agricultural extension staff and councils in McHeriry countyk and parents. A rural, youth organization gives single youth the opportunity to meet others their age. At the same time they participate in informal education and recreation. Home Bureau is1 a professional organization for the hprnemaker, whether she is from the city tor from the farm, ^cooperates with the Illinois Home Bureau economics extension service at the University of Illinois, Urbana, in bringing an educational program to the homemaker and in furthering the 4-H clubs and Rural Youth program. The objectives of Home Bureau are to give the homemaker help with her homemaking by providing new aids in management, decoration, sewing, child care, mental health and various other plans. In McHenry county there are twenty-three Home Bureau units with memberships of fifteen to forty-five in each unit. This member has gone to the office in Woodstock and taken the lesson from a qualified extension leader. The membership of McHenry county Home Bureau is 559 members, and it is hoped that this figure will soon become 1,000 or more. It is the largest district in membership in tte» state.
