Lakeland Park, about 7:30 o'clock Wednesday even- *4^. Aug. 17. Mr. Schmidt, a retired painter for the C.T.A. in Chicago, came to McHenry about a year ago from Evansiton, where he was born Feb. 14. 1893. Survivors include his wife. Amelia; a son, Arthur, of Des- Plaines, a daughter, Marion Kinney, of the Philippines; a brother. William, and eight jttandchildren. ^The body was tak?n to the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home, and then removed to the Scott chapel in Evanston. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery, Skokie, on Saturday. Justen & Son funeral home for George R. Wensel, who died Sunday night. Aug. 21. at McHenry hospital, where ho had been confined for only a few hours. Rev. Burton Schroeder of Nativity Lutheran church, Wonder Lake, officiated at funeral services, followed by interment in Glen Oaks cemetery, Maywood. Mr. Wensel had resided in Wonder Lake for about a year and a half. He was a native of Pennsylvania, where he was born Fe}j. 15, 1898. He leaves his wife, Edna; two daughters. Donna Beard and Miss.
