Ken has a ll1,2 year old brother, Raymond, and a six year old sister, Elaine, who are glad to have him in the family. This happy little boy arrived eight minutes after ten, Monday, May 1, at the Woodstock Memorial hospital. He tipped the scales at 7-7 and stretched the ruler to 20\k inches. The maternal ^rnndpnrents are Mr. and Mrs. Louis Mazzoni, Sr. of Chicago and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Severin Bottari, also of Chicago. Sympathy We extend our sympathy to Don Humann upon the death of his grandmother, Mrs. Mc- Guire of Chicago. Mrs. Mc- Guire passed away Saturday, April 29, after a long illness. Burial services were held Monday, May 1. Mrs. McGuire was 89 years old, had fifteen grandchildren and thirty-five greatgrandchildren. Frank Sweeney, Jr., observed his seventeenth birthday, which fell on May 9, on Sunday afternoon, M?ty 7, with a teenage party. Consuming lots of hot dogs and enjoying lots of rock 'n roll dances were Bob Woods from Crystal Lake, Harlem Dam from Fox Lake, Jim ana Butch Bykowski and Ray Wisnienski of McHenry and Dorothy Rehberg, Cindy and Beverly Grote, Judy Reining Lorraine Glover, Jim Kujak and Mary Therese, Alicia and Christy Sweeney. A complete surprise was held on Pat Gelwicks Monday afternoon when Petey Oakford, Mimi Ladd, Doris'Bock and Toots Gerstad came to help her celebrate her birthday of May 8. And seven assorted children. Coffee and cake were also brought wishing Mimi and Pat. a happy birthday. Florida Vacation Tired anc-Ktanned, but happy, are Bill and Lyda Radisch who are home from their three week vacation. The headquarters were in Miami Beach where they took several boat cruises and they visited Key West, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, the Seaquarium, Parrott Jungle, Cypress Gardens and many points of interest. Lyda's brother, Ralph Kendig of Chicago escorted them to Florida and since he has spent the last three vacations there, he knew all the beautiful and exciting places. The RadischeS reported that the desserts were fantastic. They left April 9 and returned back home May 3. Visitors Sunday, April 30, guests of John and Lorraine Arient were. Lorraine's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Barta of Chicago, Lorraine's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Barta of Cicero, Lorraine's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Bittinger of Oak Lawn. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Gerstad and Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Birkinbine both of Sun Prairie, Wis., spent Sundays with Mr. and Mrs. Don Gerstad and family and attended the performance at the junior high school. ^ Their Saturday, May 6, guests were Mr. and Mrs. Barta of Chicago, Lorraine's aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Schmitt, and daughter, Janet, of Chicago also Grandpa Barta gave the Arient children a three month old german shepard puppy, with which the children were delighted. Don and Carole Humann were visited by Cfcrole's mother; Mrs. Neuenfeidt, of Chicago the April 30 weekend. Bud and Dorothy Uttich had a house full Sunday for dinner. Their guests were BUd's aunts, Mrs. Josephine Hahn, Mrs. Rose Mary Hahn from Chicago, Mr. arid Mrs. Peter Meyer 'and son, Peter, from Hillside and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Meyer from Melrose Park.
