We are very proud of this " citizen. Girl Scouts Seek Co-leader This is to inform ail those interested in Scouting for the younger girls ages 7 to 10 that unless a new co-leader is found for Lakemoor Troop 299, the troop will be disbanded in June. This troop has been in existence since 1954 and many girls have had the pleasure of Scouting and the good times under the leadership of women volunteers. It only involves one hour a week for meetings and one meeting, a month for adult leaders. The troop now has 8 Brownies' with more young girls interested in joining next fall. If this troop must be disbanded these girls will have' no other place to go as other troops are all filled. It seerns a pity that a town that has no other clubs for children should let the Scouts down too. The troop registration is due July 1, 1961. Anyone interested in becoming a Brownie co-leader please contact Mrs. Pat Morrison at EV. 5-6396 by JwjMISfc' A town this size should haye some one who would voluAt^er to answer this urgent nee&"& NEW OFFICERS ARE INSTALLED IN NEARBY VILLAGE - anrt^ajg oonditioamg far. years!
