'Hie two tots, children of Virginia and Henry Mroz on Lilac drive, are Nanette, aged 3, and Roger, aged 4. They both performed in two shows at a student exhibition program on Saturday, Nov. 18. Nanette did her first solo number that evening to the music of "I'm A Little Teapot" and Roger performed his second solo that evening to "76 Trombones". From what I hear, they Stole the show - and little wonder. Can you imagine two such little ones out there doing solos? Their baby brother, Michael, accompanies them to all their practice sessions, m bet he learns to skate as soon as he can walk. Keep up the good work Nanette and Roger! MrWilHams" Boy Hurt Jimmy McWilliams, 6 years old, and a first grade student at TCdgebrook school was confined to McHenry hospital as a result of an., accident on the school playground. He is now sport ing a cast that looks like it must weigh as much as he does, and it looks like it will be on through the holidays. Maybe Santa Claus will sign his name on your cast, Jimmv. Brownie Investiture Brownie Troop 454 held its second investiture ceremony this season on Thursday, Nov. 16. The girls invested were Christine Norton, Joan Quili- Co and Holly Thurston. Their mothers were also present and the refreshments for the day included a cake with the Brownie emblem on it. Girl Scoots Tbe -Girl Scouts of Troop 478 will go roller skating as the recreational activity of the month on Friday, Dec. 1. Each month the girls try to plan one outing 'Just for Fun' - and that's what they are hoping for Friday when they all take off on skates. Have a good time girls. Northern Laos has an 800 square mile plain, liberally sprinkled with huge burial vaults, built like large jars, and often weighing 100 tons. TMs area is appropriately called 'Plain of the Jars." as City, Mo., \#hen "big" Bob Kantorski was wed to LaVerne Linderman of Elyria, Ohio. You have already been briefed on their courtship and now comes the story of the culmination of that romance. Mrs. Linderman arrived in K.C. two weeks before the happy event, in order that last minute arrangements could be made. Bob's charming "maw", Mary Kantorski was on hand during that period to help in various ways and wasn't it nice that the two gals had time to become acquainted before- instead of after their marriage? Bob's entire family including sister, Josephine, hubby. Bob, fwho were members of the wedding party), nephew, Ken Loesch, and brother, Chester, journeyed from their various abodes in order to be present. Details of the wedding appear elsewhere in the Plaindealei, and it sounds like a most picturesque event. LaVerne's two sisters arrived from Ohio, buf the third was unable to attend. Her parents are deceased and so is Bob's father. We know how happy this occasion would have been for Jake. The honeymoon trip for the newlywed couple will be post poned until Bob can take time away from his gainful employment, but there is no doubt, they will be joyful enough in their BRAND NEW apartment building located at 4761 No. Highland, Kansas City 16, Mo. That information is for those who wish to send belated congratulatory messages. Mother Mary Kantorski a • rived home from K.C. on Sunday night with glowing reports about her new daughter-in-lav. No doubt that this union has the family's sanction-- on BOYH sides! , Here's hoping their wedding trip- when it can be arranged - will be in this direction sn that his multitude of friends can personally bestow blessings. The usually victorious team playing for McDonald's for the annual "bowl and fowl" party held on Nov. 18 bowed their heads in defeat to the elated fifteen men representing Harry MeDade of Chicago. The local lads were overshadowed by 122 pins, at one of the local alleys. Giving their all (which wasn't quite enough) for tne home team were Bill Brennan, Jim Patzke, Gord Amundsen. Fred Matthesius, Al Diedrich, Dick Kleinhausen, Bill Padgett, Charlie Brennan, Ralph Kick, Ray Stilling, Ed O'Brien, Ron ny Summers, Don Smith, Ray Kuna and Joe Worm.
