Helping de- Birthday Doings The birthday club met last. Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Millie, Pintozzi's home. Millie was hostess for the guest of honor, Lee Glorch, Enjoying those hicaloried pastries were Marge i Franklin. Vicky Bottari, Rita; Zimny, Esther Cygan, Elaine j Jett and Ruth Roach. Unable i to attend were Jean Parisi and Dorothy Humphreys. Get-Togethers Before the Snowball dance a get-together of friends and neighbors was held by the Leighs and Laurences at the Laurences' home. Everyone i hen went for an enjoyable evening to the dance followed by breakfast at the home of Ken and Bernice Boyce. Joan and Paul Schwegel entertained last week before the dance with a cocktail party. Their guests were Jerry and Carol Bessener of Marengo, iVlark and Mary Jo Cramer of Chicago, Lloyd and Gerry Wagner and Harold and Pat Bruno of Lakeland Park. Dinner Party Ken and Berniec Boyce had j i dinner party for some friends j whom they had not seen in J almost fifteen years. A gala lime was had by their guests, I Mr. and Mrs. C. Valee, Mr,: and Mrs. F. Freund, and Mr.: and*Mrs. M. Miller, all from j Chicago. Visitors Ray and Mary Barle had guests for the weekend, Mr. and Mrs. William Lund, and son, Billy, from Chicago. Bridge Club Meets Ruth McMahon was the hostess Tuesday, Dec. 5, for the bridge .club. She entertained Bernice Boyce, Lucille ; Dietz, Louise McEnery, Joyce I'.raun, Ann Leigh, Ivy Lezak ; and Ann Herzog. Ruth served some very delicious and rich pastries which were onjoyed by all the girls. Bernice Boyce won first prize and Ruth won second pri^e. Attends Wedding Mr. and Mrs. William V. Haynes of Lakeland Park spent the weekend at Springfield where they visited her mother, Mrs. Myrtle Sullivan. On Saturday they attended [he wedding of Miss Carol TViesenthal and Mr. Kenneth Wayne Smith at New Berlin.
