Art Stuhlfeier, commissioner of roads, reported that streets will be plowed and sanded as Indicated. The resignation of James R. Argy from the police force .was* read and; accepted by the trustees. Because of judicial reform; the village no longer incurs any expense for the service^ of police magistrate Vic Howe. And also for this reason, a telephone will probably be installed in the beachhouse, for the Use of the police only. A mailbox will be located- outside the building, so that any one who is given a ticket can mail in his fine in theipresehce pf-the arresting officer. The next meetihg will be Monday,. Those participating included Stewart Norbert Lorch, Dave Hansen, Mery Schniitt, Don Parent!, and Bill Scheid. Because of the scarcity of "senior" citizens, Mike Schmitt and Val< Bailey filled out their team. \ Those playing with the" younger lads included Bill Brennan, Jack Granath, Mark Hansen, Jim and John Bailor, J. R. Levesque, - and Don * Nelson. ; Bill Cable ; served as referee and Bernice Bjork kept track of time. We can't say there were a great many spectacular plays, , as hockey, goes, lint ©h!the pitching!
