For a hero is more than a portrait on the wall. A hero is an ideal -- a blueprint of greatness. And where does a boy 6n<| his heroes? He finds them in books and on the playing field ... in his school, his family, his Church. The Church's contribution to a child's gallery of heroes is unique. Bible study and religious education not only introduce him to the greatest lives eveir lived . . . but they teach him how to build the same qualities of heroism into his own life.
