Scott, second from right, a big success last week. Scott is campaigning for the Republican nomination for governor. From left, Richard Joslyn, chairman of Scott's campaign in McHenry county; Jake Levesque of McCullom Lake, county Republican Central committee chairman; Mrs. Scott; Scott, present state treasurer; and Anthony Varese of McHenry, chairman of Scott's campaign in the 12th Congressional district. "BOLGER POLL" William J. Bolder, one of six candidates for delegate to the Democratic national convention, revealed this week that he has received several hundred cards in response to the "Bolger Poll" to determine how constituents feel about a vice-presidential running mate for President Johnson. The results will be rev leased in a few weeks. . . Listed on the poll card are U.S. Sen. Hubert Humphrey, Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy Peace Corps Director R. Sargent Shriver and U.N. Ambassador Adlai Stevenson, plus a write-in space for others. Two delegates will be elected to the national Democratic convention from Lake, McHenry and Boone counties. Mr. Bolger also revealed thai insiders predict that Attorney General Robert Kennedy, motivated by a deep feeling of devotion to his country, will stay on in whatever capacity the Democratic party asks of him. This contradicts an earlier feeling that he might want to drop out of politics for a time because of the tragedy in Dallas. URGES REGISTRATION Encouraging a vigorous voter registration campaign, John Clark Kimball, Democratic candidate for Congress from the 12th Congressional district, urged Democratic women workers to build party strength at all levels of government. Kimball spoke before the McHenry County Democratic Woman's organization at the courthouse annex last week. He stressed the importance of voter registration and told the women he believes the Democratic party can win the 12th Congressional representative post in four to six years "if all unregistered voters in the three counties register." Counties include McHenry, Boone and Lake. Continued Kimball, "Of the unregistered voters in the three counties three out of every four an believed to be Democrats." Jeanne Hillstrom, secretary, read a reply from Senator Paiii A. Douglas in which he expressed gratitude to the woman's organization for its offer to compile a mailing list for him. Theresa Schultz, county chairwoman and candidate for recorder of deeds, stated that McHenry county is the only northern Illinois county where a full slate of Democratic candidates has been endorsed. Also present was Margaret Evans of Wonder Lake, candidate for county auditor. John Robson of the Crystal Lake Junior Chamber of Commerce explained that the Jaycees were taking the preliminary steps toward organizing a safety council which should be valuable in reducing the number of disabling injuries and accidental deaths in the county. Joseph F. Fitzgerald, district director of the National Safety Council, explained how such a county organization would function and how it would aid the manufacturers, law enforcement officers, and the citizens in making McHenry a safer county. He said that the key to preventing tragic and costly accidents is the organization of our county's citizens and resources into a team effort. George V. Kern of the Illinois Division of Traffic Safety staged that McHenry county ranked tenth in the number of traffic deaths among fifty counties in Illinois. Mr. Kern urged the group not to be discouraged by what may seem to be slow progress. There was a discussion as to the best steps to be taken to bring about the creation of the safety, council. It was decided that the next meeting of those leaders interested in the project would be held at 8 p.m. on March 25, at the Farm Bureau building. with The First Baptist Church of McHenry, Illinois, the First Baptist Church of McHenry, Illinois hereby exercises its right under the terms of the said lease to declare a forfeiture of all your rights under the said lease and you are hereby notified that you are dispossed of the premises for failure to perform under the terms of said lease.
