CARD OF THANKS The people of Wonder Lake, particularly School District 36, have reason to be proud of themselves for the wonderful turn out at the school election April 11th. 529 ballots were cast, which is the 2nd largest number of record, even though the population of the District could have supported this number and more for many years. The only mar on this recprd is the 28 spoiled ballots. 28 people, in one way or another, voided their vote after taking the time and effort to go to the polls to express their preference. It is possible that the totals of each of the candidates could have changed the final outcome if these 28 spoiled ballots had not occurred. The 247 ballots that were cast, of the 501 remaining unspoiled ballots, accounts for almost 50%. Considering a 5- way split I feel proud and humble to the community that rates me this high with the education of their children and the expenditure of the largest share of their tax dollar. I hope to serve you as I have in the past giving our children the best education we can afford. I wish to thank each and everyone of you for your support April 11th. 4-23-64 Henry C.
