I am sure we all have a different answer to that question but to Tom and Betty Warczak it means a whole lot more. In talking to Tom and Betty after Tom's recent near fatal bee sting their thoughts on the rescue squad were well worth repeating. Tom is alive today because of them. When the rescue squad arrived they administered oxygen but it was doing no good. They couldn't get Tom's lungs working. They Called the clinic and asked for a doctor, and then called the McHenry police for an escort for him. The rescue squad stood by aiding every inch of the way, and after taking Tom to the McHenry hospital they still took the time to check and see how Tom was doing. This isn't the first time the Warczaks have used the services of the rescue sqUad. Their son, Tommy, owes his life to their efforts too. We are indeed lucky to have such wonderful men volunteering their life saving services. Association Election And News Saturday, Sept. 26, the Pistakee Highlands Community Association will hold the election of officers from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the community center. All the candidates are the same, with the exception of Mr. Rapp who dropped out. Let's all get to the center and cast our votes, and after we have elected the officers let us support them. True, we do not always agree with any elected official, but we can settle the differences peacefully and in an adult fashion. Since most of us are home owners it is to our great benefit we keep the Highlands in good condition. President Milton Croasdale wishes to inform all residents that the October, meeting will be an open meeting. A very important issue will be discussed^ The McHenry Township has accepted our petitions for building new roads in the Highlands, and everyone will be informed at the meeting.
