So come on let's all help to make this a huge success for our Teen Club. More help is needed for the musical which the club hopes to put on some time in June. Being at this.jneeting gave these future officers a chance to see how the association works for the cofrimunity. At this time a check was presented to them for the Christmas tree disposal. All organizations that use the center are responsible for keeping the center clean after they use it. Hank Boelens and Jerry Janquart will check on the premises after it has been used. If it has been left dirty an organization will be warned only three (3) times and after that there will be a penalty. We have no janitor so it is up to everyone who uses the barn to see that it is left clean. All people who have boats at the boat docks are to maintain the area themselves. • The association has nothing to • do with these areas. Spring pick-up. will be on Saturday, May 1. Remember this date and have your discarded articles ready for the pick-up. A nominating committee is being formed. This should consist of six persons, one past officer, one present officer and four members. At present there are only three on the committee, Bill Lange, Mae Kolb and Tom Warczak. If there are any members of the association who would like to be on this committee contact president Richard Farwell. Your help will be appreciated. Bill Lange, Tom Warczak and Ray Thelen drove around the Highlands to view the road conditions. Equipment was gotten out immediately and many of the bad spots were repaired. It would be a great help if residents would keep their culverts clear, this would prevent less water on our roads. Inspect your culverts and if they need it, clean them out. As soon as the frost leaves the ground all roads will be graded. Brownie News The weekly meeting of the Pistakee Highlands Brownie Troop was held on Tuesday, March 2, at the community center. You don't like it, but you know you've been wrong. With little or no argument, you pay your fine. You've been staying home from church on Sundays for one of a dozen reasons. Maybe you like to sleep late. Maybe the minister in your church preaches dull sermons. Maybe you don't consider yourself the church-going type.. Whatever your alibi -- nobody's going to come after you. This is a summons you'll have to serve oil yourself. For an infraction of God's law is something that can't be ignored. Until you declare yourself guilty, you will be deliberately shutting yourself off from the greatest fellowship in the world. No judge in history has ever pronounced a sterner sentence. THE CHURCH FOR AU. • ALL. FOR THK CHURCH *n>e Church is the greatest {actor on earth for the building of character and good citizenship. It is a storehouse of spiritual values. Without a strong Church, neither democracy nor civilization can survive. There are four sound reasons why every person should attend services regularly and aupport the Church. Hiey are: (1) For his own sake. (2) For hii children's sake. (3) For the sake of his community and nation. (4) For the sake of the Church itself, which needs his moral and material support Plan to go to church regularly and read your Bible daily. | <si2? t <si2> t <si2? t <112? t <si2? t <22? t <112? t <32? t <112? t <1*2? + <32? t <32?
