Included in this count, are the following- June 11, at 3 p.m. in the afternoon, a call came in from McCullom Lake. A man fell from a scaffold and suffered possible fracture of the leg. He was taken in the squad ambulance to the McHenry hospital. On the 12th at 10:55 p.m. the squad members were summoned to River Terrace where a visitor suffered a seizure. She was taken to the hospital in the rescue squad ambulance. Last Sunday morning the squad members received a call to a home on Chapel Hill Road where a resident suffered a possible fatal heart attack. Once again I've been asked to urge anyone who must call in for emergency help front the Johnsburg rescue squad to be specific about location. Be sure to give the correct location, as to address, name and the phone number if possible when you call in. Please do not panic. Many times persons are in a hurry to call for help and forget some of the most important details. The squad members will be able to get there much faster if the details are clear. Another thing to remember, if you do not have a readable house number up as yet please do so right now. Many times the squad must search for houses Get the BEST USED CAR BUY now during our llEDWKf'MDE Our Red, White and Blue sale on new Fords is a whopping success and our lots are exploding with trade-ins. Deaths Saddened All Our sympathies are extended to Mrs. Augusta Jorgenson and her family upon the recent passing of her husband, Charles. Although Mr. Jorgenson had been sick for a spell, his death came as a great sorrow for his family. He was 75 at the time of death. The death of Bernard A. Freufid came as a shock to all last Sunday morning. He was stricken at his home with a possible heart attack and passed away very suddenly. Words cannot express our heartfelt sympathies whiSh all his friends wish to relay to his widow, Anita, and his children and grandchildren. Charles Street 385-0481 TROOP 141 Cadet te Girl Scout Troop 141 held their last meeting of the year recently but they still have lots of plans to carry out this summer. At their last meeting they spent some time learning new games and songs and enjoying a very decorative cake made by Kathy Weyland. Everyone of the troop was moved as we closed our meeting with "Now the Day is Over" It seemed the perfect ending to a very active year. Day Camp will be starting on the tvventy-eigth of this month .and many of the Cadettes plan on attending. We have made many strange requests in the past and now we have still another one. We need old sheets (torn or. not) and old wooden, broom or mop handles. These will be used by all the girls attending Day Camp so we need lots and lots of them. They can be dlopped off at the Donald Doherty residence at 1410 Green Street or at any Girl Scout leader's home. Every little bit helps. At this time of year we have a very good idea, as to how many girls will be Scouts in each age level next fnil. That is why we begip right now to look for new leaders. There will be a need for leaders on all age levels but we would like to make a special request for the Cadettes. If a new troop is not formed this fall there will be about 30 or 40 girls very disappointed that they cannot go Cn in, Scouting. The Cadet tes are seventh, eighth and ninth grade girls and are a very interesting age to work with. The biggest qualification to being a leader is to like girls and want to help them grow into better citizens through Girl Scouting. Give this some consideration and if you want to help give a call to Mrs. Jean Weyland 385- 3118 or Mrs. Clare Engh 385- 0739 as soon as possible.
