GEORGIA BLAKE, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Blake, » McHenry, is sponsored by Woodstock Progressives. She has dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, 5' 3" tall, 118 pounds, measures 34- 24-35. Evelyn has brown hair, brown eyes, 5' 3" tall, 107 pounds, measures 34-25-35. Evelyn plans to attend Illinois State University at Normal and wants to become a teacher. She was a member pfTfational Honor Society and was^the band's secretary, chorus president and the accompanist for the chorus. She took cooking and sewing in her five years of 4-H and earned a trip to the State Fair as the: county's 4-H public speaking representative. Last summer Evelyn spent six weeks in Europe with a group of high school students and French teacher. Mary Vales Enjoys Tour With Students Miss Mary Margaret Vales, granddaughter of Mrs. Marie Vales of McHenry, graduated from Westside high school, Omaha, Nebr., on June 8. The next day she and seventy-two other students who will attend college in the fall left on an American government tour of Alexandria, Mt. Vernon and Arlington cemetery, where they witnessed the changing of the guard at the late President Kennedy's grave, and saw other points of interest. Of special importance to the" young people was breakfast enjoyed with Senators and Representatives of Nebraska. They also toured the White House. In New York, they saw the Statute of Liberty and visited the World's Fair. Mary Margaret will attend Omaha University next fall, where she will prepare herself for a teaching career. There are 450 species of insect- eating plants known, the most familiar of which is likely the Venus fly-trap of the Carolinas.
