Parents: Mr. and Mrs. Ernest W. Woddruff, 13 Fairway le., Northbrook
Education: graduate of North Shore Country Day School in Winnetka; and Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Ia., where he became a member of the ROTC. He graduated from college in June 1951 and entered active service.
Military: with the 319th Fighter Intercepter Squadron; having flown 11 missions as a radar observer in Korea prior to Christmas. He had been in Korea since June of 1952
