Time Growing Shorter Tl e weeks are slipping by quit • fast and it is getting closer and closer to the "much-lookedforv ard-to" annual dance sponsorc i by our own Johnsburg Rescue squad. This is your chance to show them how much you appreciate the many acts of first aid emergencies they participate in thro^hout the year. Your help during dance time is greatly needed in order for these fellows to continue the tremendous job they do all the time. Please make a special effort to attend their dance coming up on Aug. 27 in the Johnsburg Community club hall. Get a group together and I promise you will have yourselves "one good time." A very important thing to remember is that none of these fellows receive payment of any sort for the services they render. I'm sure you have heard the siren that summons all the members out in an emergency. They have answered calls in the dead of night as well as in the daytime hours, and have been called out in sub-zero temperatures as well as the type of weather we are now enjoying. All you are asked is to come out and enjoy yourself at their dance. Your presence will addto the much-needed funds they must have to continue their outstanding work.
