Low "evening" station-to-station rates are in effect all day Saturday until 8 p.m. and all day Mondaymntil 8 p.m. The lowest station rates apply any time on Sunday and after 8 p.m. on all other days. The same low rates will be in effect during the New Year weekend. Because more calls are made--and to more outof- the-way places--during the holiday season, some calls will be delayed. But we'll get your call through as soon as we possibly can. And here are some tips that will help us give you faster service. Ways to help avoid delays Calls will go through faster early Christmas Eve, the early morning of Christmas Day, or anytime Monday, December 26. If you'll call during one of these times, you'll avoid the busiest calling periods, and not have to wait for your call to go through. Use Direct Distance Dialing to get your call through fastest. Check the front pages of your directory for complete dialing information. If your call doesn't go right through, hang up, and wait a while before trying again. If you want to call person-to-person or collect, give the Long Distance Operator the Area Code of the community you're calling. That will help her place your call more quickly. Most Area Codes are listed in the front pages t>f your phone book. Illinois Bell Telephone Part of the Nationwide Bell System S P A ' . - '
