Postage Stomp To Honor Elks Ceremonies will be held in the grand ballroom of the Conrad Hilton in Chicago on May 1, by the U.S. Postal department to commemorate the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks with the issuance of a six cent stamp during their centennial year. Many leading dignataries of this country and the Order of Elks will be presenttopaytheir respects to the Elks of America as representatives of the postal department issue the stamp for the first time in recognition of the continuous charitable and patriotic services the Elks have performed over the past 100 years. The program is scheduled to start promptly at 10 a.m. with the presentation of the Colors by the Boy Scouts of America. Representatives of the Girl Scouts and other youth organizations will also participate in the program. The ceremonies will be open to the public and all Elks are urged to attend this patriotic ceremony. Let chill while mixing dressing, and separating lettuce leaves into cups. To make dressing: mix cream cheese and mayonnaise until well blended. Mint Fruit Dressing V2 cup real mayonnaise VA cup light corn syrup Vi cup dairy sour cream 1 tablespoon chopped mint leaves (optional) Mix real mayonnaise and light corn syrup, blending until smooth.
