Mary Murphy is back after a two week trip to Miami Beach with her mom, Mary Carey. It rained eight days out of the fourteen they spent there, but they had a good time in spite of it. Sun is only good for freckles, Mary! While there they rented a car and^ drove up to Fort Lauderdale to visit with some relatives. All in all they had a great time. Bill and Delia Dralle and Wendy are back from their sojurn in Florida. They drove down with another couple and went to St. Petersburg where they soaked up lots of sunshine. So now it's back to the old grind. j Wilma and Elwood Crane celebrated their tweriy-second wedding anniversary recently with the Kolenos. The group had a fab dinner up at Wilmot. Jerry and Elaine Worth celebrated their third anniversary about the same time and they also hit the restaurant in Wilmot where you can bump into a McHenryite almost any old time. From there they carried the celebration to a very posh resort in Fontana. Best wishes to both couples a little late. Just found out what happened to the Cubs this last weekend. The Sunday double header winner was attended by ardent fans Ron, Clark, John and Jeff Bierman, and Jerry, Paul and Mark and Chris Rogers. They saw the Cubs win both games. Hie best part was the bat given to each family and better believe Clark and Paul put their dibs On those. The Cooney Heights Rangers Walking club were also announced over television as being present last week at a game! More Florida vacationers are Tony and Marge Rebel who are just back from their excursion with Ronnie and Anita. The Leopolds are home on the range again after a vacation in the Hayward area.
