Reminiscent of the 'good old days' we even had Coach Catanzaro, football player Dee Wegener and Cheerleaders Teuber and Kasprzyk. The guest speakers for the evening tied in with the theme as the women listened to an informative talk by Dr. Carl Berg - strom, superintendent of the schools in McHenry, and saw slides shown by George Haasl. They related the desperate need in the junior high level for an additional school and then answered questions about our schools. Following Dr. Bergstrom's and Mr. Haasl's departures the women reconvenedth^ir business meeting and after a discussion, voted to endorse the forthcoming bond issue, which will be held on Oct» 5. Hostesses for the evening were Joan Laskowski and Connie Hampton. MIKE KRUEGER GRADUATES FROM BASIC TRAINING Mike Krueger, son Of Marge and Earl Krueger, enlisted in the Army Special Services on July 9, and graduated from basic training at Ft. Polk, La., on Saturday, Sept. 14. Frombasic, Mike will go on to a preflight training course in helicopters at Ft. Wolters, Texas.Good Luck, Mike! We took a week of our vacation so that we could spend the time with them.
