The out-going president, Lee Bkssi, served as installing officer and did a wonderful job. Those installed for the year 1969 were Pearle Stineman, president; Marge Polinski, vice - president; Marylyn LoPresti, secretary; Jo Bartelt, treasurer, Jo Bartelt will serve in the capacity of treasurer in place Val Fradinardo who is still infined to Holy Family hospital in DesPlaines. Hie board of directors also installed were Eunice Tobey, Alma Huechstaedt, Helen Rodde and Shirley Schuerr. Outgoing officers were President, Lee Bassi, treasurer Connie Johnson and Board of Directors Diane Fuhler and Shirleann Krich. Hostess for the evening was Diane Fuhler. Hie auxiliary is planning a combined meeting and Christmas Party for Dec. 11. LADIES LEAGUE The Ladies League held its monthly business meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Following the meeting, ^social was held. Prizes won were: first prize, Eunice Tobey; second prize, Jo Johnson; third prize, Rose Zalenka and booby, Lou Gravenstruck. The. ladies missed the company of Sophie Paterson who is fighting off the flu bug. Hope you are feeling, much better by now, Sophie. The Ladies League will hold their social night Wednes3ay, Nov. 20 and are making plans for their annual Christmas party for Dec. 7. VILLAGE OF LAKEMOOR A reminder that the village council meeting is tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m. at the community house. Hope to' see you there. BIRTHDAY GREETINGS To-Glen LoPresti who celebrated his day on Nov. 4. to Tom Para who will be celebrating his twenty -first birthday Nov. 15 in Germany where he is serving with the U.S. Army. The McHenry Statel Bank would urge the 2,000 savers to "try McHenry first" for their shopping needs.
