The Warriors, showing considerable more power than in their one sided loss to Elgin, set numerous records for themselves, and Ken Macdonald got the initial first place finish of this swimming season as he won the 100 yd. breast-stroke in a Warrior varsity record time of 1:20.8. Other aqua-men who garnered points in the Warrior effort were Phillips with 3, Hanneman 2, Bolger 1, Lightner 6, Lempp 3, Weiss 1, Roby 1, Strak 6, and Brendt 1. The October attendance for this year topped that of October 1967 by almost 4,000. Saturday, Oct. 26, saw 1,941 visitors enter the museum. Total attendance during October was 24,797. Hie highest attendance recorded for any one day is 4,938 on May 17, 1968. In May of this year, 70,141 visitors established the attendance record for any one month since the museum has been opened.
